Colville Outfitters Egg Wagon Float

We all love big belly fishes carrying up precious caviar we can fill our sacks with. This little float embodies the shape of those fats hens we call "Egg Wagons." The Colville Outfitter's and Custom Tackle Egg Wagon float is the perfect tool for smaller water where close, short drifts are a commonplace. The Elongated Avon Style allows for precision drifts and ultimate stability. Given that most of the float is submerged, the lightest flow will carry this down the creek naturally. The shape gives this float incredible sensitivity which will detect the lightest bites from pressured or finicky trout. The streamline pear shaped body allows for your target to take the presentation completely. There is Barely any resistance and the angler will not disrupt the water on hook sets or mends. This float truly allows for the most natural precision drifts with ultimate stability. Our goal is to match the speed of the subsurface current with our baits. This float will make an excellent choice for anglers that want to achieve the most natural, drag free drift.

These floats are available in 4 grams for those low flow trout Streams or 6 gram for water swelled creeks. The compactness and shape allows you to cast these in tight windows like behind submersed trees or against Bridge abutments. We coated these floats with 2 heavy coats of polyurethane so if you over cast your float and hit some concrete they will hold up. They have a double 1.9 mm/0.07" stem top and bottom. With the paint and poly the top stem measures 2.7mm/0.10". You can use 1.75 mm for top and bottom but its much better to use a 2.5mm top tube and a 1.75 mm bottom tube. I cant forget to mention these floats feature artwork from Trevor Hawkins. On the float you will find the image of an egg wagon female salmon. I hope you guys and gals enjoy fishing this float as much as we do!
